What's New ...?
OUTREACH 500 Update
18th July 2006
Hi Everyone. What do you think of the website and the progress of the car? The whole team is very excited and we
hope you are too.
Danka is doing a fantastic job of keeping the site up to date and we love her work. Thanks heaps Danka!
Steve Gundry has been kept busy getting the team generator ready for the new season. We've had a few hold-ups
which were largely due to difficulty in sourcing some of the items.
Steve Carter has done an excellent job and we believe his work is second to none - as you can see for yourself.
The car came "home" on Friday and looks wonderful! Only a few things to complete now. The colours are quite
striking and we believe it will stand out well on the racetrack. Because of its red tail it's been nicknamed the
"Bumble Bee". Kev can hardly wait to put it on the track. All it needs is the signage, which Ray Blick is eagerly
waiting to do.
As mentioned earlier, Kev and the car will be at the Richmond Men's Conference on 22nd and 23rd July so if you're there,
please call by and say "Hi." Following that, the car will be at the "Suregrip Ceramics" new showroom in West Geelong.
Then it's down to business as Outreach 500 becomes a reality. The race dates for 2006-2007 will be posted on the site
soon.
The next step for Kev is to make a trailer. Those on offer for sale are a little "pricey" so it looks as if he'll be
busy for a while.
Keep watching the website for more updates on the progress of Outreach 500.
As always, may God bless you all and we hope to see you face to face as we travel around with the "Bumble Bee".
Marg
