OUTREACH 500 Update2nd January 2008Well here we are at the start of the 2007/2008 season of racing. Outreach 500 is very pleased to announce that all our sponsors from last season are staying with us for this year. The main naming right sponsor may change which means we add another name to the car. These people have been a great help to our team through the 2006/2007 racing year and we are pleased to have them all recommit to this new season. I have no hesitation in recommending these businesses to you. Outreach 500 is off and racing into another new season of speedway. We started at Murry Bridge on November the 10th. It was not the start we were really wanting after travelling all that way to South Australia, but that’s motor sport. There were a few teething problems with a new drive system but that has been sorted now and we are ready for the Jack Willsher Cup at Warrnambool on the 24th of November. If we can have as good a run there as we had last year then the team will be very happy. On a sadder note, we have lost two of our crew members due to various reasons. Steve has found that his work commitments are now so high that he has had to stand down for the time being. Billy has also had to stand down but will still drop over the fence to help with the car preparation whenever he can. He just lives next door so that is handy. Danka will continue to set the website and organise that. Marg will continue to do the reports for the updates as required. As for me I’m still keen and mad enough to keep on driving. I just love these cars. If you are ever at the speedway please come and say hello. We would be very happy to meet you.
