SIMPSON As Shane is side-lined for the present with his health issues, Kev agreed to drive his 500 at Simpson to give it a run. Kev’s PMP is still in pieces so this was a good opportunity to take Shane’s 500 for a spin. Kev and the team set out for Simpson with no real idea how Shane’s little car would suit Kev as he hadn’t had the opportunity to try it out beforehand. The night was busy with adjustments to the car and to Kev’s techniques as he got used to how it drove, compared to the PMP and the Racetec that he usually drives. Although the team effort wasn’t very successful as far as points go; Kev feels that he’d like to give it another go at a later date after Shane has finished fine-tuning it. Kev believes the next run will be good as he will be used to the feel of the car. If anyone is interested in buying Shane’s 500; please let Kev know and he will pass on the information to Shane. Don't forget the Racetec is also for sale so there are a couple of options available to anyone interested in getting into the 500 ranks.
