The M.V.DOULOS was built as a freighter in 1914. Completely refitted, today she carries a multicultural crew and staff of 300 volunteers (18 – 30 years of age) whose service is a practical expression of their faith and commitment to bring knowledge, help and hope to individuals and communities around the world.
DOULOS CREW SPEAK AT GEELONG DINNER Come and hear ELISABETH OTTACHER (from Austria) and TRIZENIA SEPTEMBER (from South Africa) will share their personal stories over a great two course dinner at Capri Reception Centre (45 Separation St. , North Geelong on Monday 1st September 2008 at 6.45pm for a 7.00 pm start (finishes around 9.30pm ) Elisabeth and Trizenia will share their interesting life journey ending up half way across the world in Geelong . These two young women are presently the project managers organizing the Doulos 08 tour to Geelong and other Australian ports. This will be the Ship’s last tour to Australia and the first time the Doulos ship has visited Geelong. A once off dinner with Elisabeth and Trizenia in Geelong , not to be missed .Invite a friend to this most enjoyable dinner!
