"Let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us" - Hebrews 8:1 Who Are We ... ? It is interesting to see how some Christians are trying to go where the unsaved are. They are moving outside their comfort zone and sitting down with the "unchurched", just as Jesus did in His time. His ministry was with the lost. What we propose to do with Outreach "500" is to do the same. We want them to see that Christians are not a bunch of standoffish folk who only seem happy while they're at Church. We hope to be a light in the darkness, their darkness. We pray they'll see something in us that they'll want for themselves. What we, as the Outreach "500" team, are planning to do is to go out there to the lost and compete with and against them. We want to show them that Christians can be involved in sport and be competitive and have a will to win. Our prayer is that what will show through to them is that with Christ as our leader we are not obsessed with winning at all costs. We care for our fellow competitors and our aim is to be there for them. This is a new concept to the sport of speedway racing. Together lets show that Christians are real people who love their God and their sport. May God bless and keep you all in His Grace, love and care.
